Personal Project | Glen Canyon: A Walk in the Park

When we first moved to Glen Park, we had no idea that there was a 73 acre park a few blocks from our home. During the past 14 years, I have been to it hundreds of times, in all seasons and times of day. Like Monet’s lilies, this experience of the subtle transitions of light and climate on the park’s natural elements inspired me to write this book. The final piece is the result of about a year spent photographing and sketching the park, conducting interviews and researching.
